A Little 'Me Time' for Mother’s Day
Share
On a day meant to celebrate mothers, most moms I know are pulled in two directions. The obvious way to spend it is with family, but part of honoring the hardest job in the world should probably include a little time to decompress, too.
I knew I liked every product in the Me Time Creative Box, but it wasn’t until I actually sat down with it one quiet morning that I understood how luxurious the experience could feel.
It was still twilight. I lit the Present candle and steeped a mug of Coconut Vanilla Black tea: an upgrade from my usual routine. I spread Rhubarb and Lavender preserves onto shortbread cookies. Then I set everything aside and opened the watercolor kit.
I don’t think I’ve painted alone since college! It was calm, absorbing, and surprisingly grounding.
This box is for the mom who never quite gets around to doing something just for herself. The one who doesn’t usually buy the nicer candle, or who saves the good jam for guests. It’s a simple, beautiful way to say: you’re worth the good stuff.
Truth be told, I was only halfway through the painting when my four-year-old found me. We ended up finishing it together, which, in its own way, felt just as right.
If her version of a reset leans more spa than watercolor, the Relaxation Rituals box is designed for that kind of unwind.
Both are available now.
